Islamic Wall Art Ideas: 12 Quran Verses for Your Home (Free Printables)

A verse on the wall is a quiet reminder you pass a dozen times a day. Short verses work best: they read at a glance, sit well in a frame, and carry a whole meaning in a few words. Here are twelve that suit different rooms, each with its English meaning (Saheeh International) and a free printable from our Quran Verse Wall Art collection.

For the living room

Ash-Sharh 94:5-6. "For indeed, with hardship will be ease. Indeed, with hardship will be ease." Repeated twice in the Quran, it is one of the most loved verses for a family space. See it in geometric and minimal ink styles.

Ar-Ra'd 13:28. "Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured." Calm and centering above a sofa or reading chair. Try the modern arch print.

Al-Ikhlas 112:1-2. "Say, He is Allah, who is One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge." A bold, simple statement of faith that suits a main wall. See the minimal ink version.

For the bedroom

Al-Hadid 57:4. "And He is with you wherever you are." A gentle verse to wake up to. The gold and night sky prints both work in soft light.

Ar-Rum 30:21. "That you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy." A favorite for a couple's room and a thoughtful wedding gift. See the night sky print.

Az-Zumar 39:53. "Do not despair of the mercy of Allah." Hope in seven words. The arch and watercolor styles are soft and warm.

For the entryway

Al-Isra 17:80. "My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit." A natural fit by the front door. See the sound entrance print.

At-Talaq 65:3. "And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him." A steadying thought as you head out. See the gold version.

For a study or prayer corner

Al-Baqarah 2:186. "And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near." Beautiful near a prayer mat. See the watercolor print.

Al-Baqarah 2:153. "Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient." For a desk or study wall. See the arch print.

Ta-Ha 20:25-26. "My Lord, expand for me my breast and ease for me my task." The dua of Musa (peace be upon him), loved by students. Find it in the collection.

For a child's room or a gift for parents

Al-Isra 17:24. "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small." A tender gift for parents and grandparents. See the geometric print.

Choosing a style

Every verse comes in two of our six styles: minimal ink (black calligraphy on warm white), gold (gold lettering with a fine border), modern arch (soft terracotta, blush or sage arches), geometric (an eight-pointed star border), night sky (gold on deep navy with a crescent) and watercolor (soft washes of color). Match the print to your frame and wall: ink and geometric suit black frames and white walls; gold and night sky glow in wood or brass frames.

Printing and hanging

Each design downloads free as a high-resolution PNG, JPG and PDF (3600 x 4500 px), sized for an 8 x 10 in frame and sharp up to 16 x 20 in. Our guide on how to print wall art at home or at a print shop covers paper and settings. Many families hang Quranic verses at or above eye level and keep them out of bathrooms, out of respect for the words.
